I will also share with you where I learned how to create a website, just in case you are interested in creating your own. Now let’s get back to Pomegranates benefits on your skin.
What Is Pomegranate?
Pomegranate is a fruit that has many seed-like clusters that are filled with sweet red juice. In order to get into the clusters, you need to peel the fruit, the skin of the fruit is quite tough which protects the goodness of the antioxidants filled clusters. once you peel the fruit you can proceed to eat it keeping in mind that each cluster has a seed inside which is quite hard when you bite it.
The best way to eat pomegranates, is by adding them into a smoothie or a milkshake after blending it completely so it’s nice and smooth. The pomegranate seeds contain oil that is high in fatty acids, that help promote elasticity to your skin preventing premature aging of the skin.
Pomegranates are also high in Vitamin C which is essential for the recreation of new skin cells and formation of collagen. When consumed the pomegranates are also helpful in lowering blood pressure and cleansing the internal organs like kidneys and liver. Natural pomegranate juice, is used in many detox recipes, that is because of its power to cleanse your body from the inside. But now let’s look at the pomegranates from the skin benefits perspective.
Pomegranates Have Even Found A Spot In The Greek Mythology
Pomegranates have been used in beauty recipes for thousands of years, they have even found their spot in the Greek mythology. When Hades the god of the underworld forced Persephone, the daughter of Zeus, and Demeter the goddess of the harvest, and fertility to go with him to the underworld.
The earth became bare and dark, and cold because Demeter was mourning the loss of her daughter and would not give life to the earth and so no plants would grow. So Zeus, negotiated with Hades asking him to return Persephone to earth.
But Hades tricked the goddess by offering her a pomegranate when it was the rule that one should never taste any food in the underworld because by doing so, they will be bound to the underworld forever.
So when the goddess tasted the pomegranate. Then she was to stay in the underworld but. the council of the gods at Mount Olympus came up with an agreement, the goddess will spend some months in the underworld, and some on the earth so to preserve life on earth.
After Persephone Was Tricked By Hades With A Pomegranate, The Troubles Began
And so it was believed that the winter months are the months the goddess spent in the underworld, and Demeter was mourning. But the spring and summer months the goddess was back on earth, and because of the joy Demeter had because of her daughter’s return, she would bless the earth with good weather and harvest allegedly lol.
And in ancient Greece, Because of their rich ruby-like color Pomegranates were used to create a paste that was used to color lips and cheeks.
In modern times Pomegranates are used by clean beauty brands to create different kinds of makeup including lipsticks, eye shadows, blushes, and lip liners. Pomegranates are in the top three ingredients that are used by the clean beauty brands. The other two are Beetroot, and mulberries.
They are also used to create different kinds of skin, and hair care products.

Even by just taking the fruit clusters and just rubbing them directly on your skin and letting the juice just sip into your skin, will help clear dead skin cells and, rejuvenate your skin. I like just rubbing the fruit just on my skin and sometimes I crush the seeds and use them as face scrub. You have to try its amazing.
Your skin is left feeling fresh, clean, and rejuvenated, if you follow up the treatment with a nice pomegranate based face moisturizer, you will feel absolutely great. Other benefits of Pomegranates on the skin, are, the antioxidants found in this fruit will help reduce sun damage, especially when consumed and applied directly on the skin.

Healthy Clear Skin
Because of its power to exfoliate and hydrate at the same time, pomegranate will help keep wrinkles, and fine lines at bay, which will help you have clear youthful clear skin.
