5 eye-shadows you must try in 2019

Top 5 Natural EyeShadows You must try in 2019

In this article we are going to look at top 5 Natural Eye shadows, you must try in 2019, like you simply have to try them.

Why should you try them?

I know now you are asking me, why do I have to try these shadows? I am perfectly fine with what I am using now, well, the reason why I would love for you to try these shadows, is because, they are made of natural ingredients that are not going to harm your skin or your eyes.

If your shadow is not made of naturals  and toxin free ingredients, then its time to make a change in this new year, you need to invest in safety and health of your skin and eyes.

Make-up too needs to be safe for our health

and l must say when l started this project to find these shadows, l didn’t know what I was getting myself into. The thing is, as much as we are more conscious of what we are eating, seems like a lot of work need to be done to convince people that make up too needs to be safe for our health.

I also think that more companies need to invest in research and come up with more natural products. I honestly don’t understand why we have to put hash chemicals on our skin when mother earth has provided us with all the colors, oils, and minerals we need to beautify ourselves safely.

My  friends don’t even look at the back of shadow kit

I say this because, I have been speaking to friends and I ask them do you really pay attention when you buy make up to see if it’s safe to use and to see that it doesn’t contain harsh chemicals or toxic ingredients? and the answer has been the same, No, I only care about color pigmentation and the shades.

And sure enough when I was doing my research trying to find these shadows, I came across many Eyeshadows and the first thing they mentioned in the description was color and texture, they did not mention the ingredients in the description box, and sure, they were cheap and they looked really good and appealing but, I was thinking about, all the chemicals they contain

One shadow in particular really stuck in my mind, it contained a lot  of metal and  loads of bad chemicals and I was thinking wow! this stuff cannot be good for the eyes.

The eyes give light to the rest of your body

I mean think about it, the eyeshadow and eyeliner, as well as mascara, those things are coming in contact with your eyes the windows to your soul, the light to the rest of your body(that was deep) lol OK, lets continue, so I think we really need to be careful about the things we are putting on the eye area.

Anyway, it’s really up to you to decide what’s good for you, but I will put these shadows here, so it can be easier for someone who is looking for safe products to use on your eye area without worries.

I know there are many women out there who like me, want to use natural products but they are finding it difficult to find them, that’s why I have taken it upon myself to look for these products, and post them here to make it easier for you.

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful review on natural eye shadows.

I had stopped using eye shadow, well, make up altogether, for years because of its toxicity etc.

I am happy now to know that there are indeed non toxic and free of animal testing products out there.

In the past I tried also some researching but didn’t come up with what I was looking therefore, I am glad that I have stumbled over your website and saved it too.

I also hope that this will spread through out the cosmetic industry that more and more consumers are looking for these kind of cosmetics made of “real” natural ingredients.

In my own research, a few years ago, I have come along products claiming to be made of natural ingredients which in the end was not true.

It is quite a dilemma sometimes if you want to buy the right product.

    • Hi Sylvia, I understand the point you and Britney are raising, but most of those brands l have listed have been certified as using natural ingredients in their products. think of all the big make up brands, have they done much to eliminate toxins and harsh chemicals from make up? the answer to this is no, they are more focused on advertising and sales. and that’s why the natural and organic brands are struggling because maybe they don’t have the advertise power like the big regular brands.

my point here is, its up to us to buy the natural make up in order for these companies that are making these products to remain in business. and we want to be healthy and yet look good don’t we? I don’t think its fair that we should give up wearing make up, yet its possible to find something that’s safe to use. I for one can never give up make up and that’s why I work so hard to find better products that I can safely use

  3. Hi!

I think you touched on a subject that is rarely talked about in the beauty world: All-natural eyeshadow. There are only a few all-natural eyeshadows, other than the ones you listed in your post, that I know about. They’re from companies like Burt’s Bees and 100% Pure.

And it’s interesting that people don’t really pay much attention to what they put on their eyelids, which is one of the most sensitive parts of the body.

Also, with some of these all-natural makeup products, we have to make sure they’re natural like manufacturers claim. Sometimes they’re not certified by the USDA so certain ingredients may not be the best for you.

    Anyways, thanks for sharing!

    • Well Britney, thank you for your comment, I have done a lot of research to come up with this list, and actually I had a list of ten but I dropped 5 products because they did not meet the requirements I was looking for. I will say this, its really up to the customer to decide what they want to put on their skin, mine is to try and find products that are natural and post them on my website, of course I don’t work for these companies so I will not be able to say exactly what is being done in the factories. its up to USDA to investigate and tell the consumer if what the label says is the truth.
anyway, thank you for your comment.

  4. I often have second thoughts about the ingredients in my eye shadow, and I am always looking for the natural product. So pleased you shared this post. For sure, I love the Benecos Natural Quattro. I love these shades, so hopefully I’ll get the kit soon. They look so natural and earthly, exactly what I have been looking for.

  5. Very Brilliant article! I absolutely love everything about it, it is also well written. I personally stopped using any makeup product after I had an eye infection from eyeliner product I once used. Your article is very reassuring and I am interested in purchasing the Au Naturale Creme De La Creme Eyeshadow. Its perfect because blue shadow compliments my skin tone . Thank you again for this article and have a great day.

  6. Hi Rose. My partner is very conscious about the ingredients of any skin care products that she uses. It makes it painful and expensive to go shopping with her sometimes. So I am happy to have found this site and will get her to check out the products that you have recommended. It is really amazing to me that more people are not aware of the ingredients that go into the products that they are applying and absorbing into their bodies. I believe that a lot of sickness and dis-ease is caused by the unnatural ingredients/products that we are subjected to on a daily basis through modern living. The market is consumer driven, and it is up to the consumers to want to take more responsibility for their state of general wellbeing to actually force the manufacturers to produce ‘healthier’ products.
    Thanks for sharing.

  7. Hi Rose, I personally love natural make up, especially anything that goes around the eyes as they are so delicate and sensitive. For the past 2-3 years I have only ever used organic brands and have seen such a difference in my skin it is unbelievable.
I don’t think people understand the damage that harsh chemicals can do; in fact, they are very aging in the long run. This is a great educational post 🙂
